The place and significance of the fragment as a new cultural form that emerged in the era of postmodernism is gaining cultural space in the present, is generally recognized. It, a fragment, is presented as a certain way of cognizing reality, appealing to the asymmetry of sign functions, reflection, the search for new ways of directly expressing the self-consciousness of a constantly transforming being. The fragment fully reflects exactly “your” subjective view of the real everyday life. It is by the method of identifying a “fragment” that each of us draws our attention to a detail that is obvious to him, calling “this is this”, and “that is that”. However, the “fragment” itself, becoming an object and being an important way of representation that is in demand today, eludes strict definitions and is difficult to describe systematically. It can contain a singular thought, be an expression of chaos, but also remain a special universal integrity. A fragmentary statement in some cases gives an idea of a disparate, incomplete "I", and in others - about connections with infinity. It is even more difficult to identify its characteristics as a type of philosophizing. The philosophical fragment transforms the infinite into the singular. There is no system in it, but there is a single one in the form of impermanence, discord, incoherence. It strives for a holistic comprehension of the universe, which is constantly refuted "here and now."
