"Landscape. Oslo Fjord"

10 - 25.08.2024

Fossekleiva Kultursenter, Bergerveien

From 10 to 25 August, Volodymyr Filippov's studio in Berger, Fossekleiva Kultursenter, will host an exhibition of watercolors, monotypes and drawings created by the artist between 2023 and 2024.

Inspired by the majestic beauty of the Oslofjord, Filippov transforms natural landscapes into abstract works of art. His works display an astonishing combination of color, shape and texture, making the viewer reflect deeply on nature and its changes.

The artist's watercolors convey the dynamics and light effects of water, creating a sense of movement and depth. Using thin and smooth transitional shades, Filippov masterfully renders the play of light and shadow on the surface of the fjord.

Filippov's monotypes and drawings explore more abstract and experimental forms, reflecting his unique perception and interpretation of landscape. These works represent a deep analysis of the interaction between man and nature, highlighting the fragility and grandeur of the world.

Filippov, who lives in his studio in Berger, has found an inexhaustible source of inspiration in the Oslo Fjord. His art is not only depictions of nature, but also a philosophical understanding of its changes, the impact of time and weather on the landscape.

Don't miss the opportunity to visit this unique exhibition and immerse yourself in a world of abstract art inspired by the beauty of the Norwegian fjords. The exhibition is open for visits from August 10 to 25 in Volodymyr Filippov's studio at Bergerveien 2, 3075 Berger, Fossekleiva Kultursenter.
